    Outdoor drying

This is something I've been wondering about for awhile because I'm in a situation. This season I plan to do a pretty big grow (10 plants feminised) and I for certain reason cannot bring the harvest back to where I live to cure it or really anywhere else for that matter. Are there any methods to actually drying buds outside? What I'm most worried about it is bugs getting into at and also the fact that the weather isn't constant (obviously it could rain)i

Ummm...this is a medical cannabis site. If you are in a bind because your parents won't let you grow, cure and smoke the cannabis your doc prescribed...I'd get some new parents.

Its not because of parents, I have bad luck with the DEA and the police and I'm trying minimize the chance of me getting caught. My house had a visit from the DEA before and I don't want them finding pounds of bud inside and i'm not being paranoid in saying that. I'm attempting to keep everything outdoors as long as i can.

They believed I was growing psilocybin mushrooms because I had ordered spores too many times and it began to look suspicous. Luckily I wasn't at the time so nothing really happend. The funny thing about it is that they hardly looked it was pathetic. All they took was a ghetto ass bong I made sitting RIGHT next to a grow kit. Literally it was in plain sight and they didn't take it. ON TOP OF THAT I had tons of crap sitting in the drawers next to where that was (roaches, empty bags, bowls, papers, scales). Its bizzare

I haven't grown or dried any bud as of now, but if you really want to do it outside, you could probably build a wooden box-type thing, caulk the inside to seal it, put a lock or something on the door to it. It could easily be made bug-proof by using some sort of one sided sticky foam seal around where the door is. cover it with a tarp or something after that, just a little added security from the rain, or make a tent kind of thing with it. cut a hole in both sides, not too big i guess, cover them with a very very fine mesh and caulk around it to prevent bugs, and you got some airflow going through. as i said, i've never tried this, but its worth a shot and it's the easiest thing i can think of. if anyone else has any corrections to it, im sure theyll say something.

Rural areas are my specialty, don't know what ya'll do in the big city.

Find a creek in backroads area that has very little traffic. You need one with a bridge over the creek.

Take crop under bridge and hang underneath. This allows bud to dry slowly due to moisture of creek. Plus it puts a roof over your harvest.

    OR

Take crop into the woods. Build drying rack out of limbs, and hang there to dry.

    OR

Find old abandoned barn and use it to hang your crops inside.

Now don't ya'll start telling me how risky these methods are, I already know...

My favorite is hanging under a bridge.

p.s. If the bugs ain't ate your crop by the time you harvest, should be OK about bugs.
