Poll: Obama More Revered Than Jesus Christ

There's an ideology for every cause, but doubtful your cause is anything beyond the 'norm' of bending the rule of law, and the laws of the land, to suit your own selfish/distorted sense of right and wrong, and hoping that your posts are insightful. But they're not.
i wasn't really looking for any sort of credit with my friendly little jest, i merely thought you had realized by now that the delusional one is far from being a follower of either the liberal establishment or their quest for a totalitarian paradise (i shy away from the term fascist, as it seems to mean so many different things to so many different people). obviously, you didn't get the memo. as for being lazy, i'd have thought anyone with more than two brain cells to rub together would realize that accepting responsibility for all of one's actions and avoiding the welfare pitfalls of today's socialistically inclined society takes far more effort than lazily going along with the powers that be and accepting their propaganda at face value.

little insight is needed to see that the path we are on leads only to the mediocrity of the herd. i suppose that a lifetime spent meandering along with that herd might dull one's senses, allowing you to actually believe that the common man is incapable of acting in an ethical manner without the hand of government to show him the way. it is all too obvious to anyone with a modicum of intelligence that it is the rule of law that has become selfish and distorted by the ideology of victimhood that is so readily embraced by the greedy masses, hungry for new scapegoats to blame for their own lack of independence.

what am i doing? i am living my life. living ethically and by the rules i have set for myself, without the guiding hand of parental government hovering over my every action. giving more than is taken. asking nothing from the bureaucracy i have no faith in, but willing to render unto caesar what is his as long as it keeps the bastard off my back. an independent state of one, striving for excellence in a world intent on mediocrity. getting a little too high and wasting my breath on the uninterested in useless internet forum debates. what more can be expected of a man?

It's not that the society isn't ready for anarchism...it's that we reject it. Big difference, and frankly I see nobody ready to further your cause, aside from obscure websites touting hammer and sickles, bloody stars of David, and swastikas. But hey...as long as you are happy with your discontent and childish lack of thinking your scenarios through to the logical conclusions...who am I to judge the likes of you? Admittedly, one of the unfortunate side-effects of a free and open society that just can't be remedied...is that you can't fix stupid.
However, and I seriously mean this....I pray that you remain happy in your discontent. Your attitude makes some of us feel good about our own morals and values. For that I thank you.
i can't help but wonder what it is about the term anarchism that strikes such fear into most folks. they attempt to laugh it off or to equate it with impotent extremist groups, but they fear the idea none the less. could it be that they believe themselves too lazy and stupid to take hold of their own destiny and accept personal responsibility for the actions of themselves and those around them? is the idea of self-determination so shocking that generations of self-imposed slavery make it seem an impossibility?

government is not society, it is a tool of society. the purpose of government is nothing more than to relieve the masses a few responsibilities, it is merely a way of avoiding some of the tedious and distasteful chores of survival. that tool has taken on a life of its own, attempting to determine the path we must all take and force those unwilling to follow into line. we have allowed ourselves to become far too dependent on this crutch and it is time we start thinking about taking up once again those duties we have shrugged off onto the faceless bureaucracy of our own creation.

i'm sure you are quite proud of your morality, handed to you by generations of ignorant sheep and enforced by an army of faceless bureaucrats. it keeps you from having to think or feel or dream of what comes next for mankind. you might try to remember that without those who are dissatisfied with the status quo we would still be living in squalor and fear, subject to the whims of the powerful and the limits of our own ignorance. my discontent comes from simple impatience, that the masses are so unwilling to take a step away from the comfort of mediocrity and embrace the possibility of their own excellence. i force myself to be patient and realize that such childish ways are not so easily set aside.
