Dude, your logic is flawed in one simple area. You assume the majority of these people ejaculating at the sound of his voice are going to blame him for the collapse of our economy and federal takeover of much of the private sector. They will blame it on Bush, Limbaugh, or any other person they feel had at least a minor roll in decline. We live in a time of playing the victim. It's always someone else's fault. Not there own.

blaming everything on the conservative faction can only last so long. brak's administration seems doomed to failure from the very start. he was elected on the promise of a new age in american politics, just like so many "reformers" before him, and that just ain't gonna happen. to win he exploited the weaknesses and corruption of his opponents, but those are the same flaws that he will have to use to grow his power and to forward his agenda. even the deluded masses can't help but see that he is no different than the fools he replaced and his entire campaign was nothing but smoke and mirrors. if our fledgling administration's corruption weren't already so evident, i might even allow myself to feel sorry for the bastard.

the only reason this idiot is sitting in the white house is the guilt and greed of the american people. we have been sitting at the top of the heap for so long that we no longer feel worthy of our position, we have lived with our freedoms for so long we have taken them for granted and the rest of the world has been sucking at our tit for so long that they feel themselves our equal. as the global economy follows our own into the crapper, hopefully we will wake up to the reality that brak's ideals are filled with third world rhetoric and have no place in a country of such wealth and leadership.

the people of this country will not stand for the mediocrity of socialist dogma for long. this is a country founded on the power of the individual, not the whims of the puling masses, and what greatness we have is based on that striving for personal excellence.

socialist tyranny is one of the few things more feared by those seeking freedom than corrupted capitalism. we know perfectly well that man's baser instincts must be curbed, but find the totalitarian measures of brak and his ilk to be a giant step backward for a country that has always prided itself as a haven for individualism.

turn on CNN and you will see people crying at obama speeches, hell, even some of the reporters cry themselves!

meanwhile, while our stock market is crashing, obama is hosting huge white house parties, dancing the night away like there isnt a worry in the world

i just hope the media and the other half of the nation who were die-hard obama supporters are starting to realize what they did in november08

we idolize people (real or fictional) for the ideals they represent. while jesus might be said to represent the best of humanity, idolizing a political animal like brak only shows how gullible the public really is and just how far we are willing to sink to satisfy our need to feel superior in our false compassion. the mythology built up around jesus encompasses love and sacrifice, those better instincts that we all possess. the cult of personality surrounding brak has more to do with our desire to find a scapegoat at whose feet we may lay the blame for our own failings.
