A new grow soon to begin, need help

Whats good guys, I'm about to start a pretty big grow soon. Two things I'd like to say first though is that for one, I am already familiar with Cannabis.com and its community, and I've just opened a new account for security and privacy reasons. Additionally, I have only really had one "successful" grow prior to this. The plant eventually revealed sex in august and at six feet tall I was really dissapointed to find out it was a male.

Anyway, I recently ordered 10 brainstorm (formally hempstar) seeds from dutch passion and I need some help with a few things. Sorry for being vague, but I live in the Tri-State region (north-eastern US). I'd like to hear some opinions what the community thinks about this strain considering where I live.

Also, throughout my previous grow I used miracle grow which I know for fact is really something to be avoided. Although I still had success with those nutes I have been wondering what I should use for this grow. My plan was to use the fox farms 3 pack deal (gallon size) because of the price and the reputation it has. Is there anything within the same range of price thats better out there?

My last question is, by reading endless threads about growing outdoors I've noticed a persistent problem with outdoor cultivation; loose buds. Does anybody know a reliable method to tackling this problem? I'm aiming to grow dank here so I really want to have the most dense buds I can.

Any other tips or advice is appreciated.

*All of the plants will be started indoors under flouros.

A new grow soon to begin, need help

Hi, I am not an accomplished outdoor grower, so take it with a grain, but applied science would tell me that using some kind of nute like Carboblast, or Bud chunk would help. Holland secret has one called Bud Start, which you apply one time when buds are about thumbnail size. It really chunks indoors ones up, and Holland secret has another good one called Ton o Bud, which goes on after the buds are established, almost until harvest. I am not sure how to compute the indoors application to outdoors, but it's the same plant. It should respond indoors or out. Any other opinions about that out there? does indoor technique apply to outdoors?

wuddup so im not of the east cost. but i do knw about O/D and im not sure about tha strain.

as for the foxfarm nutes. that stuff is good and its worth it but for outdoor. ferts of all kinds usaly get washed away. as they run down hill not in the hill unless you have/ create a feeding tube <pvc pipe that goes down into the root mass with multi holes at the bottom> .if its organic and mixd into the soil which i recomend it will hold strong tru out the grow. you can usally find organics all over especialy if u have a friend who is a reg. farmer veggies, compost chicken, cow shit etc. i have a man made pond with koi fish. which wen i clean i have surplus of organics.{fish emulsion } some ideas for you to consider im stoney sof if shit dosnt make complet sense mybad!!

one last thing if there is lots of clouds thats to blame for loose buds so you cant all ways help mother but she can help you show her some love

( to swan ) indoor and outdoor are two completly diff process! one is the gods at work the other your working for the gods happy growing:hippy:
