I think there is a lot more to this story than what is being told. I agree with the retaliation theory, and that the child never thought about the ramifications of her actions. Seems like a lot of children have no clue, I'll bet that Mom and child had a fight, or the child was told she couldn't do something and did it anyway. Because the punishment was thought to be "unfair" she turned Mom in. Were it me, and when I got out of jail, I would be real temped to show the child just exactly what child abuse was all about.

Nebraska Girl Turns in Mother for Allegedly Smoking Pot

WAVERLY, Neb. â?? A 15-year-old Waverly girl has turned in her mom for allegedly smoking marijuana in front of her.

The 32-year-old woman was cited on suspicion of child abuse and marijuana possession.

The daughter called the Lancaster County Sheriff's Office, and authorities executed a search warrant of her mother's home on Wednesday.

The girl told authorities where they could find the woman's drug paraphernalia and marijuana. One gram of pot was found.

The woman has two other children living in the home.

A sad product of the DARE culture. Police officers teach children that by turning their parents in the are "helping" them with their "problem." They then find their families torn asunder and their world turned upside down as Mom or Dad possibly lose custody of their children.

I don't condone children smoking marijuana but ask yourself, does it endanger a child for a parent to have a beer after a hard days work?

Sad, just sad.

I used to watch my parents beat each other up every night because they were too drunk..had they smoked pot together I'll bet they wouldn't even have gotten a divorce..
