Apartment building neighbors tend to be nosy anyway. If you lived in a complex where you were hanging your ass out the window with a hose several times a day, they're going to think you're nuts.
Oh, wait there's more flaws. The last thing the owners or maintainence is going to want to see is water hoses running through their units and out windows. That's how water damage occurs and nothing's going to be a bigger buzz kill then hanging out the window with the hose and doing this shit then wondering if you're going to get a knock on the door from someone saying "What the fuck are you doing to my apartment!!!!"
Then when they come in, how is your water hose trick going to suppress the smell of the smoke that will be coming off of the lit bowl or pipe or bong or the joint cherry or blunt cherry??? It won't and it's not going to get 100% of what you inhale/exhale either.
Where are you going to connect the hose, outside or inside. Inside and those connections always leak, outside you're going to look stupid going outside and turning on the hose and running it through the house to appear with it outside another window. That doesn't sound like a pain in the ass either.
This will also work well if you have multiple people over, all hanging out of a window.
Use this method and you're going to get busted and then your neighbors are going to start calling you the mental neighbor who got busted for opening a window and unleashing his marijuana smoke to the outside world that also lost his security deposit for water damage.
Sorry but not the best idea I've seen in a while.

dude you don't have a fucking hose from outside running up the stairs of the appartment to your window and then turning on the hose....you idiot.
YOu take a piece of a hose...and then blow the smoke out the hose that is outside the window.
You took that so literal...jesus man.

Nice job calling a moderator an idiot. We have a no flaming rule. The last one you want to flame is me. While I called your idea ridiculous, I never called you names.
Next, still that's not going to work. Now you have unfiltered marijuana smoke flowing out to public areas. How many times do you think you can do this before people figure out which window the marijuana smoke is coming from or before they see the hose? Then you still have the smoke coming off the bowl, bong, joint, etc. filling the inside of the apartment.
Still a bad idea, with or without water.
Is this how you get away with smoking in your parents' house?
Letting the marijuana smoke out of your window through a hose seems like a good way of getting a search warrant with your address on it.

Rofl at the hose idea  GL with that buddy.
Move out or smoke up till they catch you (what are the chances?) then move, I've known plenty of people living in no smoking places, who have smoked rediculous amounts of blunts in their appartments for years without any problems.

Install a smoke exhaust. It sucks up all the smoke and dumps it outside.

Sorry man didn't know you were a mod. But you did take that in the most literal way.
You spray febreze after your done no smell from pipe or bong. Or you don't light the thing so it stays cherried for a long time. This might not work for his situation but it works for me. I don't get caught, and I also smoke at night, so the piece of hose is not visible.

Disregard the post above....sorry for the double post.
Well to take care of the stuff coming off your pipe or bong spray febreze when your done.
This is how the hose works...
1. Take a hose and hold one end then extend your arms cut hose at any length. (If your using a water hose cut the brass parts off.)
2. Open your desired window...hold onto one end of your now cut hose.
3. Take the other end and place a small part of it outside the now open window.(Make sure the hose doesn't fall out the window[this is bad])
4. Pack your bowl, and take a hit....
5. Put down your pipe or whatever you use and pick up the hose end that is still inside. (Don't pull the hose back inside.)
6.Place the hose end(that your holding) in your mouth.
7. Exhale or blow the smoke into the hose. It will magically be outside and carried off by the wind.
Hope these steps help.

ahh guys meanwhile this guy propbly got kickout of his appartment. If you need to get rid of smoke and smell, go to SEARS and buy a air purifier with a filter. they are rather expensive, and you have to periodicaly change filters, but they are a a safe sound way to get rid of smell. they run from $50-200 or more, but you just need a small one that has a good parts list so you dont ever need to buy another one. I am thinking that for 80 bucks you will be set, and no more incenss or sprays, because unless you area budist or somthing alnog them lines, incenss just means hippies, and the first thing acscoiated with hippies is weed.
so air cleaner/purifier simple cost effective and more than that......Effectivethe cure for cancer is real

Ammm, I believe someone mentioned to tape up the vents? I really wouldn't advise that in case you forget. Strangely, they put vents there for a reason not just aesthetics. If you fall asleep in a small room with no vents, it is quite possible you will wake up choking to death. Or not, but just to be safe.
I second the essential oils suggestion, Olbas oil is especially good and helps clear a blocked nose.Good luck
