Vapir Oxygen 2.0- compact, or just terrible?
Is the Vapir Oxygen 2.0 a decent vaporizer? I've heard so much bad, and almost as much good, and I can't decide... is it good as a decent portable, stealth vape?

It's the lowest priced so-called pocket portable (with the battery pack). It works fine but has reliability issues, as do all Vapir models. It has a digital display-always a potential problem with vaporizers, especially in this price range. And the 90 day warranty doesn't provide much security.
The new I-inhale is a better vape and a better risk IMO. I bought one when they hit the market 4 months ago and have used it about 4-5 times a week since then. 2 year warranty, works on flameless butane (catalytic conversion), and very stealth. I've seen these go for $200 or less from dealers on eBay. It's worth the additional $75 or so IMO.

i trust you, but that's a little over my budget. The Vapir is $99.95 or something locally. Is it really that risky?

If you can get it for $100 with the battery pack that's a good deal. The combo is usually $125. I'd be surprised if a shop had it any cheaper. They seem to have higher prices than online stores. Without the BP it doesn't have much going for it IMO.
I have no idea what the percentage of failures is. But of the major brand names, Vapir brings up the rear. It's mostly because they use digital and fans in low priced units-lots of stuff to go wrong. The 90 day warranty reflects their confidance. Most brands give you 2-5 years. You hear some talk of lifetime warranties, including Vapir (the Vapormatic anyway), but if you read the fine print it's only the heating element that's guranteed-no big deal.
The Oxygen Mini is the best offering from Vapir though, as far as reliability vs. cost. You may get years of service out of it. If you're not going to use it as a portable with the BP though, I'd get a full size box vape. $120 will get you a Vaporwarez Vaporcannon with a 5 yr. warranty-a much more satisfactory vape. Don't know if you'd have any luck finding it locally though.

No. Haven't used one. I do know one guy who likes his and it's about a year old. Another guy told me his died after two months-digital display crapped out.
