I have been smoking some of the Humboldt's finest and I must say EWWW WEEE, but this kick for Purple strains is beyond me..
I have smoked 3-4 different purp's and to be honest, WHATS THE BIG DEAL..

first off, the purp is nothing special! it normally is brought out by cold temperatures at night. the strain must also have purple genetics.

so the next time someone tries to overcharge you for some tell them to piss off!

Yeah it's nothing special, you are correct about the trendy thing. Purple bud just tends to be more appealing to the eye, especially for newer smokers. I tend to look for trichrome formation, but added purple dosen't hurt.. Some growers specialize in purple weed, for whatever their reason.. All I care about is crystals on the bud, color isn't too big of a deal. I've gotten some killer brown weed, one time before.. Take it easy!

The only purple I have tried and really enjoy the high from is Grand dad purple a California special.....has a grape taste and indica high:thumbsup:Her syrupy grapey aroma and flavor is very similar to her family mates Grape Ape and the Purple Urkle

I smoke to much, I don't get "high" anymore. Doesn't matter how sticky icky icky it is.
Oh well, I will press forward and keep sampling the finest herbs Cali has to offer.

take a tolerance break dude, no point in smokin the herb if you dont get high, at least for me anyways.
I took like a 2 week break than only smoked like once a day, and the highs are unbelievable. Totally worth it

Not really an option when you smoke for Mood Disorders.. I battle that by having a couple different strains on hand.

After a forced tolerance break of about 2 weeks, it was only 3-4 days until I was smoking just as much as I had before, and I thought I wasen't going to let my tolerance build up... I thought wrong
