I've seen a lot of fancy designs, but I'm wondering about what definite improvements people make to your everday joints? Well, by definite I probably mean minor improvements that may or may not have much of an impact, that that, as per common sense, should have some positive effect on the experience.

One I like is using a very long filter (length -- not height -- of a deck of cards), so it doesn't get too hot when I'm about done with the smoke. The way I make those it's also possible to pull the filter back (creating a space between the weed and the filter) when it gets near the end, so there's really no risk of smoking the filter even when smoking the weed to its end.

Another thing is completely inversing the way the pape is rolled so that your thumbs stick the part with the glue inside, (rather than just the paper end), with the glue facing outwards, so that the "_" in O_ is just unnecessary paper that can be burned away ( the ]in [O]_ is the part with the glue).

Something I'd like to see is something better than the hard paper filter. Long, light, solid, absorbs heat.. that would be good.

Light one up and think of something :rastasmoke:.
