Well eff it, I went ahead and did it. There was an aroma of weed from the mixture, but it was more the aroma of unsmoked weed than the more familiarly recognizable smell of pot smoke. And it wasn't a very strong smell. Easily covered up by simply microwaving my dinner right after microwaving the mixture. The smell released was much MUCH less than it would have been if I'd smoked it, even if I had exhaled through a paper towel roll stuffed with dryer sheets.

I microwaved the mixture probably a total of ten minutes, but kept having to stop & restart the microwave when the bowl I nuked it all in started to boil over.

The coffee filter didn't work so well, as it would have taken way too long to filter through all the liquid. I ended up poking a few holes in the bottom of it and getting some weedies in my drink, but I'm not a squeamish person so that's ok.

The butter I put in stayed separated from the milk and it did take on a nice greenish hue. The milk seemed to also, but not as much. I added chocolate syrup just before drinking and it tasted like chocolate milk with little debris in it.

Possible problems:
Skim milk - THC is fat soluble and skim milk has the least amount of fat in it as compared to other milks.
"butter" - I'm not sure it was real butter, thus, might not have been as fatty as I'd hoped.
butter/milk separation - The "butter" took on a nice greenish hue - a good sign, but it separated from the milk and floated on top. I'm afraid when it got close to finishing filtering through the coffee filter that the butter didn't go through and just kind of stayed on top of the filter and didn't make it down into the drink.

I just drank it, I will post results later.
omnivus Reviewed by omnivus on . Would this work? Water/milk/butter/MICROWAVE? Hello all. I'm in a position right now that I can't smoke in the house that I'm living at, and I don't really have the option to step outside to smoke either. I work 2nd shift and all the other people in the house are day people which means that I spend a lot of time bored as hell late at night alone in the house wishing I could get baked. Anyways, I was thinking. There is a secluded microwave in the basement. We only have skim milk so I was thinking of adding some butter to it to add Rating: 5
