Spray-N-Grow & Foliar Supplements
I was wondering what the local guru's thought about foliar supplements. I was highly recommended the product Spray-N-Grow, which is a Micronutrient complex including Iron and Zinc. It is non-toxic and organic and guaranteed to produce results. You are supposed to spray weekly as soon as you reach 5-7 leaf stage.
Also, I have heard people talk about only spraying plants when the lights are off. Would using this product be a bad idea when I am on 24/0 lighting? If I were to use this, would I need to turn the lights off for an hour or so to dry it, or just apply it right before the fans kick on?
Thanks for the help!

I avoid foliar feeding and I prefer 20/4 lighting during the veg cycle.
You can try it on one plant...and see what happens?

If nothing else...it provides a cooling off period. I think a little temperature variation helps, very useful in hot weather. Saves electricity.
I only veg for 30 days, before going to 12/12, anyway's.
I have done all three ways...18/6...20/4...and 24/0...no difference...for me.

lighting schedules are a source of constant disagreement, and always will be :wtf: ... I am of the school of thought, plants have processes that are active during the dark hours ... I am no scientist, I just trust the Creator to know what He's doing (and, he created Night, too) ... I've used 18/6, and 12/12 for over 40 years, with good results ... experimenting with other light schedules, hasn't show me any reason to change, 'yet' ... however, I recently read some intriguing theories by DJ Shorts, the famed breeder ... DJ, like myself, laments the loss of landrace sativas, due to hybridizing over the years, and has a plan to 'bring out' more sativa characteristics, from his plants ... he theorizes, matching light schedules to the geographic locations of the original sativa source ... did it work ?, I dunno, but I'm gonna try to find out
...

good reading, ain't it ?

Thanks for the link. I have read the FAQ so many times, Im surprised I missed it!
The trial is on. I took the smaller of 2 plants I have from my Satori's as the victim, along with a small Sagarmatha, 1 tomato plant and a group of clones. All other variable are exactly the same. I'll keep a record on my log of how it goes. I plan on spraying them 1 time per week till flowering.
