I avoid foliar feeding and I prefer 20/4 lighting during the veg cycle.

I was highly recommended the product Spray-N-Grow, which is a Micronutrient complex including Iron and Zinc. It is non-toxic and organic and guaranteed to produce results. You are supposed to spray weekly as soon as you reach 5-7 leaf stage. Also, I have heard people talk about only spraying plants when the lights are off.
