so you have hard water formula nutes, then don't do the reverse osmosis or the cal mag. Just add your other nutes and go.
herbie the love bud Reviewed by herbie the love bud on . CAL-MAX Is it pretty much the same as CALMAG Plus? The mixing directions says 5-8 ml every 4 liters. I assume that's for regular usuage with city water, but what about for distilled? My plants have been getting the reservoir changed every week with distilled water, DNF Bloom A+B, DNF Gold, DNF Bloom Fortifier and DNF CARBOLOGIC for the past 3 weeks. I sense a deficiency... I foliar spray with DNF Gold and DNF enhance twice a week. Thanks. Rating: 5

My water source is distilled with a TDS of 0. I can't use my city water anymore, my plants got hard water burn and hence why I switched to distilled in the first place.
Now, I'm in a tricky situation..My water was is too pure so I have to add the calcium, magnesium and iron back into it. My city water used to be 400-600 ppm so I'm gonna try to get my 15 gallons of water to 210 ppm of the CAL-MAX.There is no knowledge that is not power
