I recall the late '70's I paid $25. for Oz. of some new thing called 'red eye'--I asked, since when did street stuff have names. About the time Columbian was more popular on the market --any Columbian! P/R

Well there really was Panama Red, Alcapulco Gold, and some Caribbean smoke back in the old days. Alcapulco and Panama Red showed up even on the east coast. :jointsmile:

Jaysin: Once the anybody can grow begins the price will drop like a rock. Far too many want a shot at growing something to shine about with friends!!!! And we ain't talking tomatoes. :jointsmile:

If my recollections are clear, and I believe they are, these animals came into being during the Reagan years. No one ever heard of such a thing except the for ol' nickle and dime bags. But hey, how many people do you know that just didn't buy the whole ounce back then until the price when suddenly through the roof? I mean back then an oz of excellent smoke was had for $20 until the Rating: 5
