It is something that worries me. What is a mature plant???

I sometimes take clones when the plant is flowering. This will give me plants with pistils that are a few inches high! Are they mature?

I can grow that 30 footer under 24/7 and it won't have a pistil in sight. Is it mature?

Shall we define it as a plant under 12 inches in height? I LST the heck out of my plants to be low and wide- often they are less than 12 in height. Yet, I end up harvesting an ounce or two from them. So height is not an answer, either.

In the end, we are trusting some flat-footed cop, not a botanist, to judge whether a plant is "mature" or not!

This mature plant thing is a silly rule! Just let us grow for heaven's sakes! Set a limit of 20 plants, or even 10, per adult. Even the dumbest cop can count to 20 (I hope).

Pot should be around $10 an ounce! Prohibition just makes some people very rich by artificially maintaining a high price. No other easy to grow plant has such a high price! Even ginseng, that takes years to grow and harvests a few ounces, sells for $30 a pound (powdered).

And speaking of prices... did anyone else find it odd that when bush (friend of oilmen everywhere) left office, gas priced dropped greatly?
