Although purple coloring is a great marketing point, purple is just a color, not a sign of quality. It doesn't change the aroma, flavor, trichome spacing or effects. It's like the difference between an aromatic red rose, and an aromatic yellow one. They are both roses, and the only difference is color.

Yes, in colder temps, if she has the 'purple' genetics, she'll color-up. Careful with the cold though, it can stress her into producing male nanners.

Have you looked at the underside of the leaves? Plants with deficiencies, where the stems start turning purple, won't have purpling on the undersides of the leaves, in my experience. I've been growing Potent Purple (early ReeferMan strain) for over 5 years now, and if anything...it's ok. Nothing to 'shout from the rooftops' about, but it get's you high. :thumbsup:
