I don't wanna get involved in this, but only to say that Penguin was a cool dude and whether he asked to be banned or not, he didn't deserve it. I've rarely seen 15-16 year olds who didn't annoy me, and this guy even made me laugh, sometimes a lot.

if del is concerned about the thread quality he should start some interesting ones that are of the calibre he would like them to be. Then leave the frivolous ones alone. If a thread is on the top for a few hours or days it's because we keep posting to it, because we have something to say about it, because we are interested, and if he thinks it frivolous then he should not post on it or read it. I am glad the move option doesn't work, it lets me know when threads are interesting, new or dying, just like the flow of conversation in a room. I mean isn't this forum for us? and if we as a group like and perpetuate threads that might further a stoner steriotype, then isn't that ok? I mean we are stoners, those steriotypes exist for a reason.
I hate to think I just paid for membership and could get banned for being annoying. I mean...I am fucking annoying sometimes so I feel like it's just a matter of time. All I have to do is piss off the right person and there goes the love, bud and brotherly understanding I kind of expected from this board.

I'm in on the petition, I figure I'm still new enough that it's ok if they ban me, there are more "cannabis" boards out there......it's not like he was breaking the law. What ever happened to Freedom Of Speech. Or has that gone out the window with everything else that matters.........
