While Lulu is by far a great mod and I love the fact she is a mod. I must voice my disagreement with del... Especially with the decision to ban Stoned_Penguin. thought i'd just share a post of his that he posted to stoned_penguin after he deleted stoned penguin's thread:

do you really want threads like "post a sentence made of random words" on the main page of a pot site? is that the kind of portrait you want the newcomers to see? now if it was alone in the midst of threads it would be different, however at the time of that post the poster already had 15% of the general room covered with threads pertaining to anything but cannabis...and the personal threads have a place too. not here tho...we have plenty of play rooms set aside just for that activity. the general room is the entry point for most newcomers and 1st are impressions can only happen once. all these personal relationships that develope here are great but does not mean this place is meant for all the "just wanna say high" threads and all the "love ya..." ones...which like i already said are great...but out of place. if the "MOVE" function worked i would use it but until it does it's just the way it is...

You're right Del... this isn't homeroom from highschool... so quit acting like it. You specifically singled Stoned_Penguin out and we all know it. How childish was that in the first place. (I realize that you could ban me, and I will take my chances as I feel it's necessary to speak my mind on the subject). If anyone has acted immature it's you. All he did was start a fun little topic. Last time I checked, Cannabis.com wasn't a fucking place for Nazi's to patrol the boards. He posted in the lounge and in the lounge you can pretty much talk about anything... so what the fuck man? I just don't see how people like you can be a mod for the website.... We would be better off with just Ron Bennett and Lulu...... So sign this petition if you'd like to have del... be removed as a moderator!!! Stoned_Penguin... you the shit man... hope to see you back on the boards soon...

Well I don't want to get into a shit-slinging match with any of you but at the end of the day we are all adults, (well maybe half of us are), so we shud have respect for each others opinions.....RIGHT!!!!!!!

C"mon people....we all see some of the shit that gets put up in the threads, and we are all to blame here, and yes I do agree that perhaps Penguin was singled out a bit, but heah perhaps it all has to start somewhere. The thing is that it needs to be consistent, and same rule applies to all of us. I have seen the shit that del has to go though on this site, and I spose a man will only take so much before he gets fucked off. I know that Ron wants things sorted out and shit to be posted in the right places so that the newbies don't walk into a smutt session or a thread of abuse.

This site is meant to be fun, but most of it is people going off on a tangin of fuckwittery and maybe thats not what we're all into. I know for a fact that myself for one gets a bit pissed at all the bullshit, but I have learnt how to shut off to most of the mindless crap.....

I'm with ya Bman. Banning someone for excessive sillyness is just plain idiotic. It's obviously an issue of personal taste, not serious misconduct.

What we have here is abuse of power. I didn't see any large scale complaints about penguin. Nobody asked for him to be banned, yet there are plenty of other twerps and assholes who have done stupid shit, have been pointed out to the mods, and yet nothing happens to them.

But penguin gets banned because you simply don't like him? C'mon del... you old ugly hippie. Get a clue.
