The dark period should remain the dark period, whether veg or flower. Stress in veg can bring about the same types of problems as stress in flower. Tiz why we use timers and light-proof rooms.

socialistpete Reviewed by socialistpete on . Need total darkness in veg? I've got some clones under 24hr florescent tube lights in a corner of my veg room. So, when my main MH lamp is in its off cycle (6/18), there is still quite a bit of light in the room. This is also the time I like to water and screw around with my plants, so I sometimes also have the ceiling fan lights on so I can see what I'm doing. Now, I realize the importance of total darkness during flower, but how important is total darkness during veg night cycle? Thanks in advance to any Rating: 5
