    cloning 12/12

Bro has a uniqe problem and asked if clone could root under 12/12 and then just when roots start put them to 18 or 24. The 12/12 would be a 1000 hps but of coarse over in a corner and down low. Problem is bucks to make veg room with A/C. We are working on it but he just want to try the fog cloner.

I searched but have never ran across this question.

Yea, it can be done, but you are putting it thru a lot of changes and it will take a looong time because it takes about 6 weeks to re-veg a plant which is what you are really doing. It doesn't make any sense, to me. I have taken a cutting off a plant AFTER harvesting it, and it takes at least TWICE as long to get any roots, and in 90% of those, you get a clone that is in flowering. Then you get weird leaves growing on it for a month or two until they revert to the vegg state. It's not a good option

I agree with SpaceNeedle. Not the best option.

    I did this once...

    like 3 weeks ago..

I had a plant i put into flowering before cloning. (forgot this one plant)

Well that one plant ended up being the only Fem. (of that strain) So i switched back to 24/0 then took a couple of clones.. The cuttings are still alive and apparently doing well, except i have yet to see roots (bubble cloner).

Oh well.. wont do that again.. THANK YOU SHARPIE MARKERS!

That is pretty much what I tried to tell him. He was just trying to jump the gun. We have a papaya mother that has come back to veg slow in perilte and needs 6 clones to come off so it will bush more. We have time enough. He just needs to slow his roll.

Lit UP Mich, thanks guys all of us need help now and again.
