court and drug testting

sooo now im dealin with this whole court crap.. UPM, DWAI- Drugs.. Its adjourned for a month, upon which I have to submit myself to an alcohol/drug screening. VTL 1198-a. Does this mean I have to go clean for a month? they already have my urine results from the time i was arrested, and a baggy.. how much can going clean affect my chances at a better deal? ne1 with similar stories?

22 yrs
prior dwai - alcohol

pulled over for speeding up slowing down (wasnt really), issued failure to keep right

cop complained of odor coming from the car, searched it, found a bag with crumbs left inside it.. asked me if i was ok to drive, wanted me to perform sobriety tests.. no DRE on site.. arrested me on posession, took me back made me perform chemical test and field sobriety test for alcohol.
