i've read that a good ratio is 1:3. so if you're vegging, one 2700k for every three 6500k.
flowering is same, just backwards. any help for ya?
GoldenGraham84 Reviewed by GoldenGraham84 on . mixing different CFL's... Good idea? so i vegged my plants for 2 months on a dozen cfls.. 6500K. just switched to flowering and bought anthr dozen cfl's.. these being 2700K. i thought that it mite be a good idea to still use some of the 6500 K lights to help promote more growth for the plants.. i understand that in veg, its all about the stem and leaf growth which the 6500K lights are good for, so would using a couple of my veg lights during flowering be particularly beneficial? hope that made sense:jointsmile: Rating: 5
