Where to sign up new members

So I've been trying to get a friend to sign up and he finally does and he tells me he can't seem to find the sign-up link. I proceed to tell him he's an idiot and then I can't find it for him. Whats the deal am I stupid too?

The "invite only"...seems to have a flaw in it. Maybe?...it would be better to make it a 'public' group?...until they iron out the kinks?

Dutch, I think he's talking about signing up for the boards period and not a group.

Pete, you're not stupid too nor your friend. I imagine this is still leftover from recent problems but the sign up new member feature is currently disabled. I noticed the other day and asked about it but I haven't heard anything yet. I still don't know if the board was down, getting an upgrade, or both but the last big update we had a similar thing happened. It was about a week after the update before new members could sign up.

If it was working the link to sign up can be usually found in several places from the home page to the top of the forum indexes and I think near the login box.

Sorry Pete and tell your freind sorry but he'll have to wait just a few more days hopefully to sign up.
