slime at each res flush
Now to deal with your current problem wash out the res real good, lid and everything with a 8% h2o2/h2o mix. Wash out all the lines and pumps and any thing else that touches the res water at any time. Do not rinse it out after applying the mix. Get a spray bottle and use temp adjusted water and spray the root boogers off the roots as well as you can, being careful not to get any root booger material near the sanitized res. After you do this make a new solution of 3% h2o2/h2o and respray down your roots, and not rinsing them. I would also run the rez for an hour with a 3% solution with the plants in it. What you really need to do is make the environment for the boogers uninhabitable, by dropping the temps in the rez.
WildFire.ca Reviewed by WildFire.ca on . slime at each res flush im in my second week of flowering. each time i change my res the ladies have a battle with slime on their roots for about 2 to 3 days. i am now using Hygrozyme which has helped tremendously ( thanks weedhound for that). but the battle is still there each time. not sure what to do about it. once the slime goes away everything is fine and dandy. the hygrozyme is a product i will never grow again without. it compares to the hydroguard by botanocare. any help??
