I don't mind Irish people (unless they are those really nationlist ones who insist on speaking in Irish) but I think this thread is more directed at Irish Americans.

Let me clear something up, if you are born and live in Ireland, you are Irish. If one of your great grandparents came from Ireland but you were born and live in America, you are American. Not Irish.

But yeah I hate St. Patrick's day, it's retarded. It might as well be called Irish Day, it's got nothing to do with St. Patrick, it's just a load of people buggering about in Guinness hats and green shirts. Oh how Irish.
And since when do Americans have to celebrate it? Get your own holidays. Like Thanksgiving. That's a stupid holiday too.
