I think people owe a lot to the Irish, especially Americans, Canadians and the English. A hundred years ago, for a reason that is really beyond me, the Irish were the most hated European people, hell the brits even called them "the white niggers." Throughout the years the Irish have been discriminated against almost as much as blacks were, and more recently middle-easterners.

I say more power the Irish, they survived some hard shit, and if they wanna celebrate just being Irish, than by George no one can take that right away from them!
