Didn't all he do was to say he made a mistake and he was sorry? What's so wrong with that? I would have done the same thing. He has $50 million in endorsement contracts he stands to lose from bad publicity --- he made a mistake and he is sorry, true enough --- made a mistake letting himself get photographed, and sorry he might lose $50 million, so it is a perfectly true statement. I cut him some slack on this one. What do you expect him to say? "Weed makes me swim faster?"

First I would have denied it though and said I was fucking around with some mates, we took a picture of me with a bong or something. He's a moron obviously, anyone else would deny it, the picture doesn't even look like him.

I don't think Phelps ever set out to be a marijuana activist, so it's not really fair to hold him to that standard. Lots of people lie about their weed use or make excuses to save their jobs, and they don't have $50 million to protect. You yourself said you would have lied about it.

If I had all that money to lose from contracts, I'd say I was sorry too.

Hell, I lie to employers all the time. They ask, Lola do you do drugs? I say no and give them somebody else's pee. I only got $30K for my work, and I lied my ass off to get the job.

If that hottie wants to smoke & lie about it, just means he's like everybody else. Who admits they smoke to the man? Not anybody with any sense.

I'm in no position to take anything away from the guy, and you are certainly entitled to think he is hot. But he seems kind of odd looking to me. As sson as he takes off the swim cap, all of a sudden his ears deploy like Dumbo getting ready for takoff. And I read somewhere that one of the reasons he swims so fast is his strange body proportions --- he's like somewhere around 6 feet tall, but his arms are so long they would be proportional on an 8-foot tall giant, and his legs are so short they would be proportional for a 4-foot-tall midget. Super long paddle arms and short little flipper legs --- he's like some kind of water ape with big ears.

But like I said, I'm in no position to criticize. When I'm in the water, I'm a lot more like a manatee.
