Shov's Grow Log 1/2009

I grew this out last grow log and I may have put a report there.

Anyway, I was informed by a few that what I have bears no resemblance to Neville's Haze from Mr Nice Seeds (original). MNS has been out of this bean forever, it seems.
Anyway, there is a lot of indica in the plant's stature and in the smoke. It hits heavy but an hour later you can function and actually get an energy boost. I like that. Not everyone reacts the same though. My BIL said it was heavier stone than the AK47 and it put him right out. So, both strains were very similar in more ways than they were different.

8/10 High (very nice buzz)
6/10 Aroma (mild)
9/10 Taste (nice and mild smoke)

heya shov, that NH looks excellent. thanks for the report, i may encounter this soon so i'm hoping for the same "non crash" experience. keep up the good work as always bud

As long as it does what I want I don't care WHERE it comes from. I'm not as up on quality genetics as I could be.....much more of a "what works for me" type of grower......the hounds and their third generation seeds.......

The Neville's Haze was nothing like I wanted to grow this time. The original takes at least 12 weeks and sometimes over 18 weeks to finish. This stuff is a 9 week finish. It is a lot indica instead of almost pure sativa. I had great indicas already. Anyway, it could be worse. At least it's great pot :jointsmile:

thanks Luna, it's not a sweetheart grow, my sweetheart (wife) isn't crazy about the grow actually. <G> So I better get her a nice valentine.

my wife doesn't like my growing either. but she loves me and tolerates it. she even feigns interest. she did keep them alive while i was in jail too!

they are beautiful ladies! what kind of lighting do you have going?

i must say i'm in the same boat as far as wives not loving that i grow. but she helped me carry the wardrobe upstairs. honestly, i would've refused to let her help, but my back is so shit i needed her. is it just me, or is it SO cute when the misses talks about it even in the smallest respect? probably just me.

For lighting I'm usin 400 W hps and 216 w T-5 side lighting.
