I used to be a really huge guy. After my parents moved away about a year ago I had some serious lifestyle changes going on and I took the opportunity to lose a good deal of weight, and I found out that I enjoyed not eating more than I enjoyed eating. Oops. I wasn't counting calories at first, but after a couple months I started feeling kinda weird, and I added up the numbers for a typical day and it was between 900 and 1500 calories when I should have been getting about 3300 if I wanted to lose weight. My new job is very physically demanding and I also had (and still have) very limited budgets for food. Basically I found that the only way I would actually take the time to make myself go shopping or go to fast food or cook, and spend my hard-earned money for food was to get stoned and the munchies persuade me to eat. Does anyone else use cannabis for a similar purpose, not for nausea, specifically for lack of appetite? BTW someone tells me at least once a week that I'm losing weight and I put another hole in my belt about every two weeks despite eating as much food as I can afford right now (besides hamburgers and french fries which I refuse to eat more than once per week regardless how hungry I am. Fast food kills your heart and your wallet at the same time.) Tonight my dinner after 10 hours of continuous running around cooking cleaning and serving food is a package of ramen noodles, a can of corn, a can of green beans, and two eggs. BTW it's a pretty yummy soup. I added curry powder for a different flavor. If it weren't for getting stoned I wouldn't have even bothered to cook it, I would have just drunk a glass of water and watched TV until going to bed. :rasta:
