solving decarbed weed in oil with no heat?

I know.. this thread might seem redundant, but bear with me if you can.

If I decarboxylate my weed and "activate it", then put it in oil... would the THC become solved in the oil without heat? Would this need some time first before it could be completely solved into the oil?

I'm guessing heating makes it faster. But let's say all you wanted to do was to decarb the weed, and just heat it enough to have the decarbed THC solved into the oil, at what temperature and time would be optimal?

I know that 225 is decarb temperature but my goal is not to decarb it while it is in the oil, only to heat it enough to absorb the THC.

I'm asking this because I just haven't had any results really with cooking it in oil, only decarbing the weed and eating it with nothing. So I'm guessing that if decarbed THC is soluble in lipids doesn't it mean it doesn't even need heat, maybe just time, and a lot of mixing?

Well... extracting the weed's THC with acetone, which is a very penetrating liquid, takes about one week to get most of it.
Extracting it with alcohol, a not-so penetrating liquid, takes some weeks, maybe even a couple of months, if done without heating.
And if you tried to extract the THC with oil, a viscous and absolutely not-penetrating liquid, you would have to wait some years until any "decent" amount of THC were extracted if you did it without any heating.

Heating increases several (hundreds or even thousand) fold the speed of dissolution of THC in any liquid. Making Green Dragon (solution of THC in alcohol) can take some weeks without heating, but only one hour with heating, and thats why heating is so important.

Mixing helps a bit, but its FAR less efficient than heating.

When you tried to dissolve the weed in oil, did you eat the oil with the weed in it or you did separe the weed from the oil and ate only the oil?

So you say that the oil actually hinders you to get high from eating weed? When you eat weed without oil you get high, but when you eat it with oil you doesnt get high?
