I'm wondering if my schedule is holding me back..
I am planning on getting a closet grow started next semester. I arrive on Jan 17th, and I would need a couple of days to get everything set up, but I can germinate in that time as well. So if I germinate on the 17th, and move seed to soil by the 20th, here is what I am looking at:
3 Weeks of veg: Mid- February
6 Weeks of flowering: end of march
But I have to leave on Spring break for ~9 days (March 15th), and there will be no way for me to watch/water the plant. Does that mean I shouldn't try? Can a plant survive 9 days without water if I heavily water it before I leave? Is it possible to harvest before March 15th if I plant seeds in on Jan 20th? I am planning on growing Afghan Kush (from feminized seeds), which is supposed to need 5-8 weeks of flowering.
Advice would be much appreciated. Thanks all, I hope to be posting here much more as I get into my growsamusx Reviewed by samusx on . I'm wondering if my schedule is holding me back.. In that timeframe, were you an experienced grower, you could likely pull off a squat, under-developed bong hit or two. Would be a bummer wasting those genetics like that, though.
Breeders list approximatelly how long their ladies take, when they flower 'em. But they grow under shitloads of wattage, ideal conditions, and with an ease that only growing experience and strain familiarity can bring.
How do your roommates feel about you leaving your felony in the room while your gone? Likely this should wait till you can do it right, and not put other's at risk.

You HAVE to go on spring break? Is your house getting fumagated? If flowering is 5-8 weeks, why not just do 5 instead of 6?
