Could Obama's Pro-Marijuana Commerce Secretary Spell a Golden Era for Pot Reform?
I don't forsee any real change in marijuana laws over the next four years but rather a change of enforcement and priorities. Former A.G. Ashcroft made a big deal of busting medical marijuana users and providers immediately following 9/11. I don't see the Obama admin making that kind of production.
If Obama gets re-elected for a 2nd term then I could see him pushing for either decriminalization or legalization. With no worries about re-election, he'd have the political clout to make such a move.hedgehog Reviewed by hedgehog on .
