vaporizers are the latest and best thing to hit the mkt,unfortunately very pricey.I found a German site that showed how to make one for under a dollar out of a 100 watt light bulb,it take all of 15 minutes to make and works like a charm.To answer your question on what it's like,well it is a different type high since you are not ingesting carbon monoxide,just pure THC.Cut the last thread off the bulb with a swiss army knife it's aluminum and quite soft,next use a thin screwdriver to knock apart the inside glass tube that holds the filament.Clean out all the glass bits,next get a plastic cap from a 16 oz water bottle,make sure it screws onto the remaing threads of the bulb.Now drill two small holes in the cap top where two plastic straws will fit tightly inside,cut two pieces of straw one make 3" for the vent and the other cut 6" which will be the mouthpiece.Put about 1/2 of what you'd use to roll a joint inside and apply a heat source to the bottom where the herb rest, be sure to cut the herb up real fine.I use a votive candle and when you see light gray vapors rising off the herb inhale on the long straw wait 10 seconds and you will see more vapor rise,inhale this too then place back over the flame and continue till herb is finished CAUTION don't let the herb smoke if it does you are smoking like a joint.Another benefit of the vaporizer is hardly any odor.peace
