Well, I'm a nurse....will that do? It sounds like your throat infection is back. The little germies will become resistant to medication if you don't finish your scripts. It is OK you took the Amoxicillin. Go to the doctor. You are probably gonna live Don't freak out.

Felt like I had a lump of phlegm in my throat that I couldn't get out. So I went to the doctor, and she prescribed Amoxicillan(sp?). This took the throat pain away immediately..I kept taking it for a few days(was supposed to take 3 a day for 10 days)..but I stopped short of finishing them. A few days ago I felt the same symptoms return...bad sore throat, feels like there is that lump there. Rating: 5
