    Two Great Lyricists (Rap)

If you want to listen to some quality rap listen to some Aesop Rock and MF Doom. I won't even tell you what songs to listen to because they're all great.

I've met Aesop before and got him to sign an album.
I'm huge DOOM fam, you should check out his madvillain shit. Its a duo of him and madlib.

Aesop is just beyond amazing. You should check out Yak Ballz, they are the same crew.

Might i also recommend some Company Flow.

Yeah I got all of Dooms CDS. Have you listened to his Special herbs Collection? It's just all of these beats. You should also check out KMD for some of Dooms older stuff. Way older.

First time I saw Aesop live, I was shocked this guy is white because he sounds black. Shows the talent. People think Lil' Wayne has talent, unless they heard Aesop, they don't what talent is.

Fuck Lil Wayne? I think both Aesop Rock and MF Doom have done some "commercial" stuff as well like the recent cover with TOBACCO. You may not like Lil Waynes style, but he has some pretty in depth lyrics. The Carter is a great album. I am a fan of all these artists listed by the way

what I mean by "fuck hat commercial shit" is all the shit that gets the top40 hype and Mtv plays, it's all pre-packaged and bullshit. And to me Lil' Wayne is right in there with them, it's not a matter of his style... I've looked into his lyrics too, and I've heard entire albums by him because some of my friends dig him. But he's weak in comparison to a lot of the underground MC's, and many of my friends I've played the more underground stuff for have even admitted it. Those cats can out-rhyme pretty much all the shit that gets radio play, problem is you gotta actually make an effort to hear them, cause you wont hear them on the radio cause it's not commercial friendly... IMO the real talent lies within the underground, cause I've gone to many shows by the artists listed and more, and they could run circles around all those MTV rappers, and Lil Wayne included... so yeah I stand by it... Fuck Lil' Wayne, I think he's incredibly overrated.
