hmm wow what a conundrum for me... I am a libertarian at heart but I vote as an evil wicked conservative on many issues. I voted for McCain for example even though I despise him for being a liberal. But on the other hand I think weed should be 100% legal and people should be able to deal it out as professionals like Beer or Cigarette companies do. I think it is unfair to force test welfare recipients for drugs because ultimately that comes down to testing them for smoking pot. Which further keeps it taboo and illegal. Besides, what if the welfare recipients are blowing the money not on "drugs" and weed and are spending it on Beer or Liquor, because i grew up on welfare and watched my folks, and they spent theirs on not just alcohol and beer but shit for me and my brothers and sisters. Any half way intelligent pot smoker shouldn't be paying $$$ for pot anyway. Even casual smokers can pick up extra pot and sell some and smoke the profit for free with their money back.

I dunno, I do feel as an angry stereotypical conservative, that welfare is bad and its a bullshit premise to boot. People shouldn't be getting free money. So I can understand why people might be willing to put their own personal interests aside (being able to smoke pot themselves legally or without persecution) and kick those lazy welfare leaches off the rolls. But ultimately I think it will be easier to stick to our morals and aim to strengthen our cause in legalizing bud.
