Eeekkk!! Harvested & trying to dry in 80% humidity!!??
I'm in beautiful rainy & humid southern california ... I just harvested this past Saturday & it's currently 70-80% humidity ... am I SOL??
I have branches hanging in my grow tent ... lights/fans are off and I'm using passive air flow ... The temps are pretty cold and the air isn't stagnent ... should I be concerned about mold?

Ever leave a head of Romaine lettuce unprotected in the fridge? It gets dehydrated pretty fast. The cold would lessen any chance of mold. No, I've never tried this with pot, but it's better than mold! I think it would work.

I concur with MBA, You spent all the time and $$ to this point, get a de-humidifier, they work great and won't go un-used. Besides peace of mind

a drying box would also be a good idea, that way you have your growspace for perpetual harvest...or at least to start up another round

Why not get a food dehydrator for $20.? Never used one, but they have screens etc., and low heat.

This 100% works! Materials needed: 2 a/c filters, cheese cloth, bungie cord or elastic bands, fan. Lay the cheese cloth over a single filter panel and spread cannabis evenly, not layered. cover with remaining cheese cloth. Place filter on top of folded cheese cloth with cannabis securely inside. Wrap bungie cords or large elastic bands to hold both panels tightly in place. Lean the two joined panels against a wall. face the fan towards the panels and run for a day of two until cannabis is dry. This works in the MOST humid climates in the world. Meat can be used also to make jerky .. for those pesky munchies later!
