It's time to end the war on drugs!!!
Thanks for sharing. Funny, shortly after I clicked the link to read this pose I heard on the news in the background that "Every day 5 American college students die from alcohol related injuries". When is the last time you heard of a death related to pot? It's only a matter of time until it's legalized, just wish they would get on with it.

they make very good points and these statements come from ex-dea's.
edit-remember, just because something is legal doesnt necessarily mean you should do it.

Making every drug legal would put a lot of us out of work dude! Not that I am employed right now, but with patience and proper research, I expect one day to have the choice! I am all for stem cells and mmj. Not alcohol or tobacco. Only because I have pulled lungs out of chests full of cancer and livers so large and mushy, ick! We can't have everyone helping themselves to drugs--who will be our organ donors? We in America are over-endulgent. If one is good, 2 is better! I am no exception!
Drugs are dangerous, as already stated. I don't think you have a clue and there isn't enough time in my life to educate you. So, I will ask you to be cautious and use carefully! Besides, I've always felt we have the right to choose how we die (if we want to plan it). Regardless, I am in the medical field and I can honestly tell you--drugs and over indulgence keeps us in business. So, I am for it--until. . . .
My brother (2 of them 1 age 47 other age 50) have been found alone and days dead! The docs put heart on death certificates. Neither had been diagnosed with heart problem as much as drugs acquired illegally! In my heart of hearts I will always know it was accidental OD for one and most likely on purpose the other! Live with that--the drugs are illegal already. I pray to legalize the safe one--I can take and not think or worry about killing myself with.
I always buy a house with 2 bathrooms. One for guests, so they stay out of MY med cabinet. I am not LEO, but I loved my bro's dearly and am educated enough about a lot of drugs that I know we are ALL careless at times. More than not wanting them legal--I feel we personally need to take a more responsible roll taking care of the ones prescribed instead of mmj! If mmj were cheaper and I had a large farm, I'd pass it out for free! I pray when I go to the old folks home the common garden has cannabis in it--or I'll die of want.
I accidentally took a double dose of my vitamins a few days ago. It happens. Certain things need controlled, because some of us do not have the self control to stop and wait for our medication to work before taking more. Or, as I --take them by a clock and am too sleepy to realize what I did at times, until I go for the next dose and find it gone.
I have done it with other meds prescribed by my Dr. and scared the shit out of myself. Can you imagine, taking enough meds accidentally to take ALL pain away and then sit there slapping your face to make sure it doesn't go numb and enjoy the hours of being pain free is lost on fear! or death! Knowing, there is no way on earth u r going to the ER, because they will take my blood and then I will have to rely strictly on mmj, which is impossible at the price.
Our docs need better educated in the use of mmj and their abuse of serving their patients with the proper pain meds, etc. Many docs actually think they can get you addicted to M.S. during a 24 hour hospital stay! Actually, some people can get hooked on something after one try. Those people get addicted to McD's and bananas too! It is their wiring and the doc is missing the diagnosis.
If drugs were all legal. We'd have to have more restrictions with mandatory mental addict testing to make sure you aren't in the percentile with the propensity to accidentally O.D.! It is harder on your family than you.
My one bro would take so many meds, get in his car and drive. Then need air and get out and walk in the middle of a busy street until he passed out! Fortunately, he did die in his home, when he did. He is no longer in mis-treated pain and relying on drug dealers to help him, instead of a skilled M.D. that did him no good!! Our medical system, like every other one in the nation is flawed. So, I'll stict to mmj.
You can mix antibiotics with certain other meds and kill yourself. This is dangerous. Most drugs come from plants anyway! Which is why we ask all our family members here to abstain from eating unknown substances they find while walking! P/R :rastasmoke:
I can see both sides of it and right now, we stand on the safer side. Many medications are legal that use to be prescription. To name a few: stomach acid meds, allergy, cold remedies--I'd name them, but we all just got off a month ban and I don't think it would apply toward a new one! Nice to have the forum back and running! Who will be the first to stir up the Mods, that hasn't already been banned! P/R :rastasmoke:

as for not having a clue i do. i don't use anything only the legal shit eg. cigarettes, alcohol. which is great if you wanna die. but what other options do i have. my addictive persolnality will hurl me into the legal shit. so caffeine, nicotine, and alcohol are my best friends right now.
i'm sorry for your brother's death but not even i would try something so addictive it would kill me. mary jane had been my lover and we would convene almost 20 times a day. she was the reason ilived but my job kept me from that. so i lived without her.
as for free MARIJUANA, you may be onto something but it would never happen. money needs to circulate and in order for us to further the cause mary jane must be wor th something. otherwise why would farmers grow and sell a worthless crop. its the cash that drives the nation and marijuana is worth alot more than FREE.
to end it all, drugs should be legal. Drug education should be taught. teach the future that just because its legal( ALCOHOL and TOBACCO) doesn't mean its good for you. people will die regardless of whats legal and illegal. Marijuana is illegal and no one has died. alcohol is legal and countless have died due to poisoning. medicine prescribed, in any dose, can kill you but its legal. HELL, otc medicine can kill you but 1lbs of marijuana won't.
its not about marijuana being legal, but how smart you are when it comes to trying things. remember that.

I think if we legalised all the 'safe' drugs, whichever ones you say they are, we wouldn't need to bother keeping the other shit illegal anyway.
Say we legalised Cannabis, Heroin, Cocaine, Ketamine, Ecstasy, LSD, DMT, Salvia. We'd probably be ok, no one would want to bother going underground to get the other shit. That said, we need to just stick to Cannabis. That's what we are, we need not worry about the other drugs.
P.S why were people banned? All I know is I couldn't get on for ages. Didn't know it was a ban!\"It\'s not a health issue, it\'s a wealth issue.\"

First and foremost: I am quite sorry to hear of the loss some of you have expressed due to dangerous drugs.
I'm sure that everyone is also familiar with a friend / loved one who has lost their lives due to obesity, diabetes caused by obesity, tobacco or alcohol related deaths, and car crashes. And nobody ever got cancer from cocaine, OK? Lots of shit will kill ya. :chainsaw:
With that said: um, y'all do know that we're all going to die eventually anyway, right? Legalize. Everything. Profit. Learn. Heal.

If people keep tampering with Tylenol as the gov't did with cannabis in the '70's; this is all futile!
I felt like we were all banned due to the site being down so long! That is what I inferred! lol!
I went to a meeting last night and our little group is getting so big. We are focused on cannabis, as is this forum. It is exciting to see all the old hippies coming out instead of kids now!!! If that continues and it is people do this across the nation, we could get it legal!
We are focused on getting it legal. If they dole it out like pain pills, I think we won't accomplish much. Frankly, imo it should be treated like alcohol!
We need the Sopranos to get it done! P/R
Thanks about your comments on my bro's. Has a lot to do with my involvement. We have a lot of people in the same shoes right here at cannacom! There are things you can do that do not put your name on list's etc. Please Get involved!
