Connections

The first guy was flakey to begin with - spending most of his time ICED over - he was good for a connection every 3 months. Well the Ice-man came-ith and from what I hear he now prefers the invincibility of a good ice-buzz over social interaction... plus I heard his connection was taken down in a big bust.

My number 2 dude did the most stupid thing I could ever imagine. He had a good connection via Fed-Exp coming fr NYC... and he occasionally flew LaGuardia-ATL with a bag in his pants. Plus he was a real stoner so he started making connections locally. Then he had the BRILLIANT idea to have his buddy in Canada Fed-Exp him a bag. Well the package arrived re-wrapped in yellow tape with a note inside from US Customs.... he called me freaking-out. I was cool - I said, "yeah dude, that sucks", and "wow", and "no s**t". Then, after I hung up the phone I thought.... this dude is hotter than the surface of the sun.... and the MAN is gonna kick down his door any minute now and (just like NYPD Blue) they're gonna get him to roll on all is stoner buddies. Sho-nuff, a couple hours later he leaves me a VM "dude, can you put me in touch with your bud-buddy - I gotta make a score..."

Yeah, well, needless to say I called a lawyer and he said - "cut him off completely - don't take his calls - and say nothing if you run into him. Nothing". After a month he finally got the hint and stopped calling.

My #3 dude was intermittent at best and he has not had anything since last summer.

I was thinking of going back home to connect with some of the old gang - but that's a 16 hour drive (I'm not flying with it). Maybe I'll take a train. That might be fun.

I'd match a bowl in ATL if I had one. That's my story.
