    Hydro dwc

Hello. I have a couple haze hybrids in dwc to basicaly learn the basics for hydro. i over did the nutes a tad bit. the plants look fine but the roots were burned a little, but nice white ones are replacing them already. my question is how long is the same water in the buckets good for? I been changing it about every week, is that good? also, a little bit of slime is forming lately and im not sure about what it is. it cant be good. Also, can you foliar feed a nitrogen deficient plant with piss water? Just an idea i had and wonder if anyone has tried it.

try adding a couple of tabelspoons of 3% Hydrogen peroxide to your water to get rid of the slime stuff. don't over do the hyrogen peroxide thought.

one a week is good for changing although some people can go 2 weeks if conditions are good

Are you agitating the water/nutrient with a air pump or water pump?

Yes kanman, I have 2 air pumps, one dedicated to each bucket. I have air stones in them. And special thanks to kuri. I added some h202 this morning after i read your post. when I just checked the roots a minute ago, they look improved this fast, like it cleaned them almost. im gonna check again in the morning, maybe my hydro haze experiment will be succesful.

sativus. great to hear that your root thing is turning around. the h2o2 helps to break down all the guck stuff AND in turn releases oxygen to the roots, but you have air stones, so that is good too. take care

Your "pee" would need to be composted for at least 1 year before it is safe for the plant. I have tried this and trust me, you don't want to, it smells worse than you can imagine, and doesn't work well either.

Thanks lords and 666, for a minute there, i didnt think anyone wanted to touch that question. I heard and read of people pissing in there water to correct nit/defs, it always sort of disgusted me to think about it and the thought of foliar feeding entered my thc soaked mind. Its not something I would do, but I wondered if it was an option to consider for like a quick fix with a plant in flowering or something.
