Unknown strand, but I think she's looking good for my first time. I'm definitely anxious for this grow to finish hopefully here in another 4-5 weeks. I'm about 17 days into flower right now. Hoping to have some smoke cured and ready for a BYOB (Bring your own bowl) Super Bowl Party ha!

Looking pretty good so far, keep up the good work.
Strange container for cannabis...do you know what size it is?
Not much perlite in your mix...no problems with the soil retaining too much water?

I'm not sure of the dimensions of the container, but it did have 3 plants in it.... 2 ended up being male. Ih aven't had any problems with it yet. As for the soil it's just Miracle Grow potting mix... I actually emptied out the original mix I used about 4 weeks ago because I added WAY too much nutrients to it and my plants had almost died because of it. I water about 1/3 of a gallon twice a day and mix in 1/2 a recommended dose of Miracle grow 15-30-15 once every 3-4 days. The soil gets kind of compacted and seems a bit dense after watering so I take a long shiskabob skewer and poke holes around the base of the plant to let the roots breath I started this grow before I found this web site.... Next time around I definitely want to try a few things much differently.

Tiz best if only one plant per container. :stoned:
I believe the instructions on the back of MG are for weekly or bi-weekly applications, but I can't remember offhand. (you might still be overferting) Altho they look great now...would keep an eye on it, and adjust down if necessary.
Would be a bitch to transplant into another (larger) container, so you may be stuck in there till harvest.
Let the soil dry-out a bit between waterings. 1/3 of a gallon is about what I give my 3 gallon ladies daily. (if that, during the winter) Keeping soil too wet will cause lockout, then root rot.
Using MG soil, you'll want to avoid adding nutes for a couple/few weeks. With the nutes already inside the mix, adding more will overdo it. Transplanting with MG soil also delays the inititation of flowering, if transplanted just before switching to 12/12.
Good luck with 'em. For a newbie it's looking great.

Sorry, forgot to mention...
Altho a good idea in concept, it damages roots every time you poke. Perhaps better to leave a few of them pushed-in, in various spots around the pot, and 'swizzle' them around a tad, creating an air channel. More perlite in the mix would help solve this.

Definitely the type of info I am compiling for next time around. This being the first attempt I'm hoping to yield an ounce or two for it to be considered a success in my eyes. I know there's no shot in hell I'll yield enough to tie me over until grow 2 completes, but I have cost myself at least 2 weeks of time in the screw ups I've made so far. Anyone who says this stuff is easy their first time is just plain lucky.... or born with a green thumb. I'm convinced This is not a god given gift of mine, but a hobby I would like to get A LOT better at!
