    just a quick question

hi all can anyone tell me (approx) what my ppm should be at 40 days into 12/12 ?
im on my 4th grow but first with meters.im growing 4 ppp on a 4ft nft table ionic nutes (also boost) and a 600w hps 2x 5" extractors and passive inlet.
all seems ok some really nice buds but i just want to get max potential and maybe a little reasurance/peace of mind.
they where on around 1700 ppm going from veg (18/6)to 12/12 but since turning them, anything over 1300 and they start using more water than nutes and ppm startes to climb is this normal ?
any help would be great. even if there is no set ppm levels other growers norms will do cos then i can still work out a rough average as,as i am still a noob still gathering info and learning loads.
    thanks in advance.
(hope this makes sense im really quite stoned .)

The optimal numbers depend on the plant. What you need to do is follow your nutes recipe. If it seems like your plants can take more than increase until u burn the tips a little then back off a bit. Use that as your baseline and follow the recipe at that ratio.

I agree and would add. What is your starting point? Starting with 0-50 ppm RO water will allow for more Nuts than some hard waters. I would never go above 1500ppm unless your plants seem to like it and you have some hard water. with an RO I would stay 1000-1500ppms! Hope that helps!
