you'll know sex by the time they mature. When the nodes start alternating they are mature! once they mature you can tell sex and then begin to flower!

It might be a bit to early to tell for sure but wanted to upload a photo and get a second opinion. So what do you think? Based on the long stocks with the balls on top, it appears to be male.
