The ideal of innocent until proven guilty has long passed.

The american public school system is inept.

Why would these fellow classmates want to make you a scapegoat? Presenting yourself in a formal and respectable way to city/county officials over the board of education and/or a magistrate judge about your situation might be useful. But thats a tricky road to go down unless you're crystal clean.
