I would not ask to buy weed from him, but rather ask him if he knows where you can get some. Let the conversation flow from there. I bet he will offer you some, unless he doesn't give a rats ass about family.

Now I've been craving it since I have new friends around, and I have no way of getting any. Seriously, not one little inch.
