First Time Need Advice

Ive recently acquired a space which I am intending to use for cultivation. I also have a 150watt HPS light with a ballast and mylar but I dont no what that is. I would want to grow hydro I need advice on how to make a system and where I could acquire nutriants and other materials. I intend on growing max amount of buds with that light. I also would like to learn how to grow the fastest cycle possible yet still aiming for strong potency.
