I suspect you have been reading the test results wrong, like others mistakenly do. The top line should always show up rather it's positive or negative....that's call the "control line". As long as the control line is showing the test is a valid test, regardless. The "T-line" is the TEST area which determine positive or negative. As long as there is a faint or bright line in the "T" area, then you are testing negative.
