I recommend switching to a compost grow as described in my grow guide- your answers of '5-6' 'various' and 'idk' on the form, and all the missing info, tell me that you are not ready for hydroponics, due to either insufficient experience or equipment. Do you have a pH or EC meter? It is NOT possible to run in rockwool without knowing, at MINIMUM, your exact pH...
Also I don't know what questions your answers even GO to. Am I correct in assuming '50-80' is a temperature number? You can't run that cold.
Finally, you MUST pre-treat your hydroton. That is not optional.
Go back and fill out the form again, with the questions still attached, and the missing info put in. If you have to buy a pH liquid test kit, do it. That's $7 to save probably $200 worth of seedlings...

Well, off the top of my head I would say the 4" cubes are too wet, they look dripping wet on the pics. When I tried them, that was the problem, too much water not enough air.
Since then, Im using rotorooter plugs or 1" rockwool in 4" cups of hydroton. No problems last grow
