i have the platic pyramid style grinder, after having an aluminum one piece grinder, and i like the plastic one better. it does make it a bit more "powdery" than other grinders, but it also really breaks up everything, no strings of weed in my bowls i hate trying to pack a bowl that is bouncy because there is a 2 inch string of weed from all the stems weaving together. and as for blunts and joints, i never pull through, though i roll tight enough that the end is to tight to pull through.
