So all five beans have sprouted a tap root...woot woot...

the biggest tap root was a little over a quarter centimeter...

the smallest was barely poking out but regardless i threw them all in a mix of my potting soil with vermiculite...needed to add a tad more drainage than the miracle grow gives me.

Now i've got the solo cups covered with saran with a few small holes to act as my humidity dome. They are remaining on the hot water heater til I see some action behind the dirt. Then they are going under the t8's. I'm also considering adding some CFL's in the cab in a few days.

I also picked up a moisture/ph tester/light intensity tester. Tested my set up and decided i might like to get a lil bit brighter in there.

My last indoor attempt was going alright for about 1 month then i pretty much killed her. I tried to love her too much and it backfired. This summer I had 2 outdoor plants who did very well for my first successful grow. I ended up with (2) 7 ft+ tall plants. I ended with with a modest dry weight of 10 oz per plant. I believe this grow was successful b/c i had more than enough Rating: 5
